SAFE Solutions was founded by a United States Navy SEAL with over twenty years of experience in Naval Special Warfare. Upon leaving active duty, the founder worked with the US Marshals Service, Federal Air Marshal Service, and Department of Homeland Security, Office of Investigations.

Throughout his career, he served as a trainer and instructor in Special Operations, Anti/Counter Terrorism, Executive Protection, Physical Security, Criminal investigations, Close Quarters Battle/Urban Warfare, Search and Seizure Techniques, Escape and Evasion, Tactical Ship Boarding, Diving Operations, Marksmanship, Demolitions, and International Ship and Port Security (ISPS). Wanting to make this same training accessible to others, while increasing the scope and depth of the content, he founded SAFE Solutions, LLC., along with his two partners Steve Bienkowski and John Ramirez.

John Ramirez

Executive Vice President, Executive Protection

With more than 20 years experience in the field of Law Enforcement John Ramirez brings a blend of innovative, creative and adaptive solutions to the challenging and ever changing field of private security. John has assembled a professional, highly specialized and dedicated staff who have been hand selected from some of the nation's most prestigious units of the US Military, Law Enforcement and Government Organizations.

John is also President of SAFE VIP, a subsidiary of SAFE Solutions which provides a wide array of security services and proven solutions including: Executive Protection, Advance and Event Planning as well Close Proximity Protection, Counter Surveillance and Surveillance Detection Teams, Vehicle Tracking and Monitoring, Personal Tracking, Private Investigations, and much more.

Prior to establishing his security firm, John was a 20 year member of the New York City Police Department where he attained the extraordinary rank of Detective First Grade. During his distinguished career with the NYPD, he worked in the elite Intelligence Division where he was assigned to the Dignitary Protection Unit. He was then selected to be a member of the New York City Mayor's Security Detail where he was responsible for all facets of executive protection for the Mayor, his family and his staff in both domestic and international settings. In this capacity, John has had the critical task of ensuring the security of the Mayor through the advance security planning and the coordination and organization of countless international and domestic trips.

During his tenure with the NYPD, John completed some of the most advanced executive protection courses offered by the NYPD, the State Department, the Secret Service and the Central Intelligence Agency relating to executive protection. Due to the extensive nature of his background, the diverse and unique set of skills required to perform his job, John possesses all the necessary experience, credentials, certifications and licenses to operate in the security field. Additionally, John has been trained and credentialed by the Department of Homeland Security as an Armed Security Officer (ASO) whereby he can fly aboard private chartered aircraft providing access to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., currently restricted to all General Private Aviation.

As Executive Vice President of SAFE Solutions, John Ramirez maintains the standards of excellence and dedication he exhibited with the NYPD. It is these core values that have afforded him the honor to provide discreet, professional and effective security services to an ever-growing list of clients that include Fortune 500 companies, CEO's and high-profile individuals.

John is proud to sit on the Board of Advisors for the National Navy SEAL Museum located in Ft. Pierce, Florida

Wallace R. Zeins

Mr. Zeins has extensive experience and specialized training in the area of law enforcement. This experience includes administrative management, operations, and covert investigations. Mr. Zeins was named to supervise the New York City Police Department’s Hostage Negotiating Team. During the World Trade Center attack, he was designated Commanding Officer of the NYC Police Department Hostage Negotiating Team.

Mr. Zeins served as Commanding Officer of Detective Borough of Manhattan Night Watch where he supervised all major crimes in the borough of Manhattan, (midnight to 8 A.M.). Prior to that, he was Assistant Chief Investigator Executive Officer for New York City Department of Investigations, where he organized and oversaw sensitive mayoral agency investigations, investigated covert/overt corruption within New York City employees, city officials, and vendors. Mr. Zeins has lectured to and cross-trained FBI undercover agents at the FBI Academy. He appeared on CBS News 48 Hours Investigates concerning the NYCPD Hostage Team and provides expert opinion on an ongoing basis for Court TV, CNN, FOX, Local TV and Radio regarding Hostage Negotiations and the relationship between the media and law enforcement. Mr. Zeins has been profiled in Law and Order Magazine, FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin and NYS Journal of Medicine.

Before entering the field of law enforcement, Mr. Zeins was Manager of Emergency Medical Services for Health & Hospital Corporation of New York City. In this capacity, he supervised services and personnel, developed the first “MERVAN" (Mobile Emergency Room Van) for the City of New York, coordinated a city-wide triage disaster plan (OEM), and managed public relations campaigns representing EMS to major media.

Mr. Zeins hold a M.P.S. from Long Island University and a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University. In addition, he is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 152 Session.
